How does it work? Anyone can be hypnotized, if they so desire. To gain the results desired, the client must have at least a 9 out of 10, but a 10 out of 10 desire for this to happen to have the motivation to succeed, this is in Cheryl‘s experience for hypnotherapy, assisting in Weight Management or helping the client to overcome any other stumbling blocks. Cheryl has found that there is a misconception that the hypnotic state is one of unconsciousness, similar to being asleep or under anesthesia. This is a fallacy. Clients don‘t go sleep, but rather, enter the hypnotic rest; which is a state of absorbed or heightened awareness, not unlike losing oneself in a good book or favorite piece of music. While in hypnosis the client is aware subconsciously and drifts in and out of awareness consciously of our surroundings and if for any reason of danger would react immediately. The subconscious will not take on any suggestion that goes against the moral value of the client. It is with the permission of the client, what suggestions will be imbedded into the subconscious mind. Cheryl uses a systematic approach with her clients who seek hypnosis, to release the natural, self-healing forces deep within. Her method is direct and powerful. Long-standing issues, addictions, unproductive, or destructive patterns of behavior can be changed.
